How does Intuit verify my bank information?

We maintain a database of banks and their addresses, active routing numbers and account numbers. When you enter your routing or account number, we will look up this information in our database to find the name of the bank. Since banks sometimes merge, change names or bank information, it is important that we verify it each time you order.
